The LeiLOX DFO System is designed for distal femoral osteotomy procedures and the precise correction of femoral deformities. Combining an anatomically contoured plate design with multiaxial locking and compression capabilities, the system gives veterinary surgeons greater flexibility when planning and stabilizing corrective osteotomies.

Manufactured from high-quality medical-grade titanium, LeiLOX DFO Plates are available in left and right configurations and in sizes from 2.4 mm to 3.5 mm, providing dedicated fixation options for a broad range of patient anatomies and surgical requirements.

Distal femoral osteotomy (DFO) is a corrective orthopedic procedure used to address angular deformities of the distal femur and restore appropriate limb alignment.

Distal femoral deformities, including femoral varus and valgus, can alter alignment of the stifle and quadriceps mechanism and may contribute to orthopedic conditions such as patellar luxation. In selected cases, a corrective osteotomy allows the surgeon to realign the distal femur and address the underlying osseous deformity.

The LeiLOX DFO System provides a dedicated fixation solution for stabilization following distal femoral corrective osteotomy.

Multiaxial Locking

Multiaxial screw placement provides greater flexibility when selecting screw trajectories, helping surgeons adapt fixation to the individual anatomy and osteotomy configuration.

The system combines locking stability with compression capabilities, giving surgeons additional options when constructing and stabilizing the osteotomy.

Anatomically Contoured 

Dedicated left and right plates are anatomically contoured for the distal femur, supporting optimal plate positioning while reducing the need for intraoperative contouring.

Titanium Construction 

Manufactured from high-quality titanium for an excellent combination of strength, biocompatibility and corrosion resistance.

2.4–3.5 mm Range 

Available in 2.4, 2.7 and 3.5 mm, the system provides fixation options across a broad range of patient anatomies.

One LeiLOX Platform 

The DFO System uses the same screws as the corresponding LeiLOX TPLO, CBLO and CCWO Systems. For clinics already working with LeiLOX, this means greater compatibility across procedures and a more streamlined implant and instrumentation portfolio.
