fixation fine-tuned

with LeiCOM Compression Screws

Developed to redefine inter-fragmentary screw fixation, the LeiCOM Cannulated Compression Bone Screws can be used for corrective osteotomies, fracture fixations, fractures of the distal femur and humeral condyle, and addressing degenerative changes in small bone and non-unions. All screws are cannulated to allow placement over a guide wire to ensure exact positioning and alignment before drilling or screw insertion. By adopting the principles of interfragmentary screw fixation, LEICOM not only enhances stability but also optimizes screw position, facilitating seamless bone healing.

Enhanced Bone Fusion through Compression

One of the defining features of the LEICOM Cannulated Compression Bone Screws is its ability to create compression, achieved through carefully calibrated thread pitches at both the head and distal ends of the screw. This compression mechanism promotes faster and more effective bone fusion, ultimately leading to improved patient outcomes.

Improved Accuracy and Optimized Positioning

All screws are cannulated to allow placement over a guide wire, ensuring better accuracy before drilling or screw insertion. Using cannulated screws adopts the principles of interfragmentary screw fixation and aims to optimize screw position.

Secure and Precise Fixation Stardrive Compression Screws

The LeiCOM Cannulated Compression Screws are engineered with stardrive screwheads, providing enhanced tightening torque in comparison to hexagonal screw heads. Complementing this, our system includes cannulated screwdriver shafts that are self-holding, simplifying the procedure and ensuring secure handling during use. These features contribute to precise and efficient fixation of the compression screws, promoting smoother surgical processes and reliable outcomes.

Diverse Orthopedic Applications for Various Patient Sizes

The versatility of LeiCOM Cannulated Compression Bone Screws extends to a range of applications, including fractures, corrective osteotomies, pseudoarthrosis, and degenerative bone changes. Specifically designed for addressing fractures of the humeral condyle and distal femur, this system caters to diverse orthopedic needs.

Moreover, LeiCOM offers compression screws in a variety of sizes (Micro, Mini, Medi, Maxi) and lengths, ensuring compatibility across a wide spectrum of patient sizes—from small to large breeds.

Titanium for Best Biocompatibility

Made from medical-grade titanium renowned for its superior biocompatibility, our implants minimize the risk of adverse reactions, fostering smoother healing processes and reducing the likelihood of complications. With a superior strength-to-weight ratio, they offer robust fixation without unnecessary bulk, making them especially beneficial for smaller patients.

Furthermore, titanium's remarkable property of low temperature sensitivity guarantees implant stability in diverse environmental conditions. This stability not only enhances patient comfort but also contributes to a seamless recovery process.
