Course Description
This two-day course will offer a comprehensive introduction to the TTA RAPID® technique, incorporating lectures, drybone exercises, and wetlab elements. It will be delivered at Improve International’s brand new state-of-the-art Clinical Excellence Centre in Swindon, allowing us to take advantage of these fantastic learning facilities, including radiography.

Day one will begin by covering the structure and functional anatomy of the stifle joint, a history of osteotomytechniques, and a comparison of TTA RAPID® with TTA. We will then cover the implants and instruments required for TTAR and the pre-op planning sequence, followed by the step-by-step surgical protocol, and an overview of potential complications.

Day two will start with further lectures on the practicalities of this procedure, including the use of patellar luxation spacers, and a video lecture of the surgery itself. We will then move onto the wetlab element of the course, concludingwith a review of radiographs taken as part of the wetlab.
