Course Description |
This course will start with basic fracture fundamentals, offering a refresher on anatomical approaches to limbs, followed by an exploration of fracture types, healing, and the latest implant designs. By the course’s conclusion, participants should possess the ability to approach a long bone fracture, and competently apply a bone plate or IM pin to effectively stabilize the fracture. |

Dr. Robert “Jeff” Mayo was born in Virginia, and moved to Idaho in 1978.From to 2008 to now, Dr. Mayo has flown and taught internationally in Japan, Germany, Bulgaria, Italy, Australia and several other countries. Dr. Mayo has trained hundreds if not over a thousand Veterinarians on laser surgery, radiosurgery, orthopedics and soft tissue surgery as well as regenerative medicine and alternative therapies.Dr. Mayo has lectured at dozens of national and international veterinary conferences further sharing his knowledge to other veterinarians to better serve the patients and communities.Dr. Mayo’s peak interests includes knee surgeries, fracture repairs, second opinions, radiosurgery, alternative sterilization and regenerative medicine. |
