Introduction
Held during the VOS 52nd Annual Conference, this specialized workshop focuses on the latest advancements in veterinary orthopedic surgery, specifically the innovative use of Headless Compression Screws (HCS) and the TPLO technique with Patella Luxation Spacers.
Course Description
Join us for an in-depth exploration of cutting-edge techniques in orthopedic surgery during the Veterinary Orthopedic Society’s 52nd Annual Conference. This hands-on workshop, designed for veterinary surgeons looking to refine their skills, will cover two major advancements: the use of Headless Compression Screws (HCS) for various orthopedic applications and the application of Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy (TPLO) with the new LeiLOX TPLO Patella Luxation Spacers.

The day will begin with an introduction to the RITA LEIBINGER Titanium LeiLOX TPLO System and a detailed discussion on using the LeiLOX TPLO Patella Luxation Spacer technique to manage concurrent patellar luxation. Participants will then have the opportunity to practice these techniques in a dry lab session to solidify their understanding and surgical proficiency.

Following a provided lunch, the workshop will continue with an overview of Headless Compression Screws, detailing their use in various applications such as condylar fractures, corrective osteotomies, general fracture fixation, and the repair of small bones. An introduction to the HCS LeiCOM System will follow, providing insight into this state-of-the-art technology. The day will conclude with a wet lab, offering hands-on experience with Headless Compression Screw applications.

This workshop is ideal for veterinary orthopedic surgeons eager to enhance their surgical techniques and learn about the latest innovations in fracture fixation and TPLO procedures.
